Study in Armenia

Armenia was considered one of the most advanced scientific centers of the former Soviet Union. The country has reported 99% literacy rate since 1960's. The applied sciences such as physics, mathematics, chemistry, microbiology, engineering and medicine are the cornerstones of Armenia's scientific and educational base. Armenia with only 3.2 mn population has 18 state universities, from which 8 are foreign managed, and around 20 other private universities.
Many universities in Armenia have thousands of foreign students, professors and fellows from around the world. American students (including those of Armenian descent) are encouraged to study in Armenia and get Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degrees in various fields.
