Kuhn Foundation presents the "Khachaturian" documentary in Los Angeles

In April 2012, the Kuhn Foundation presented Katchaturian, a Peter Rosen documentary, narrated by Eric Bogosian with music by the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra. The award winning film is about the life of a composer in the darkness of a tragic era. Khataturian’s music was overtly Armenian, using melodies, rhythms, simple and pure, to infuse his ballets, concertos, and symphonies. In his famous “Sabre Dance,” Khatchaturian combined an Armenian wedding folk tune with a jazz saxophone.

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 25- Armenia's Central Electoral Commission (CEC) issued the final results of February 18 Presidential elections. Serzh Sargsyan was re-elected to the post of the President of the Republic of Armenia by receiving 58.64 percent of the voters.
